We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2025, at the age of 86, Carroll Edwin Shook of Hickory, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Heber Shook and Zora Lanier Shook; and his sisters, Helen Martin of Hickory and Ruth Cook of Hickory. He is survived by: his wife Betty Parsons Shook; his children, Darin Shook (Karen) of Hickory and Lori Shook Kent of Hickory; and his grandchildren, Dana K. Reid (Dustin), Megan Shook and Paige S. Sebastian (Mark).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Stephens Lutheran Church-Ms (2304 Springs Rd NE, Hickory, NC 28601). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
