He was predeceased by: his parents, Rush Hoyle Riley and Edith Teague Riley Deaton; his former wife Carolyn "Sue" Crowder Riley; his son Michael S. Riley; and his siblings, Linda Dellinger, Betty Crowder, Dorothy Joann Herman, Ray Riley and Larry Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Marie Riley; his daughters, Cecilia Netko-Riley and Carolyn Farley; his children-in-law, Dawn Netko-Riley and Rickey Farley; his grandsons, Corporal Devin E. Propst, Desmond Farley and Dayshaun Farley; his sister Ivey Jean Dickinson; and his grandchild Marine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either of these organizations in Cecil's memory.
