Charles Roy Hamilton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Roy Hamilton of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady C. Colvin and Agnes Lee Hamilton; and his brothers, Jimmy Colvin, Edward Sellers and Buddy Joe Orr.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Rebecca Lankford of Hayesville; his daughters, Jennifer (James Skinner), Jessica (Jason Elliott) and Heather Johnson of Asheville; his sister Marie; his brother-in-law Jerry Hogsed of Hayesville; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Jasmine, Dayrion (Bethany), Malahny (Tim), Allena, Kadence, Jaima, Jordan, Lariah and Lyron.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Chapel (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Lung Cancer Foundation in Mr. Hamilton's memory.
