He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Peeler (Bud) and Bessie Bradley Peeler; his wife Doris Crawley Peeler; and his sisters, Helen Goans and Ruby Westmoreland.
He is survived by: his children, Doug "Pete" Peeler (Connie) of Bethlehem, NC, Denise Lindgren (Todd) and Kristy Davidson (Jim); his sister Peggy Barker; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Phillips (Brent), Andrew Peeler (Christian), Julia Lindgren, Taylor Davidson (Jessi), Marshall Davidson (Whitney) and Hannah Smith (Corey). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
