It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Sigmon of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on May 2, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ray Sigmon and Ella Catherine Hill Sigmon; and his wife Tonya Oxentine Sigmon. He is survived by: his son Charles "Rick" Sigmon II (Monica); his granddaughter Kathryn Adriana Sigmon; his great grandchild Ryan Alexander Monahan of Bangor, ME; his siblings, Johnny Ray Sigmon (Vickie) and Ruth Sigmon Weaver (Scott); his former wife Sandra Minton Brown; and his close friends, Donna Setzer and Wanda Lackey. He is also survived by three nieces, two nephews, and four great nieces.
