It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Vance Holland (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Peter Holland and Carrie Lail Holland; his son Glenn R. Holland; his granddaughter Allison Holland; and his siblings, Bill Travis, Jim Holland, Betty Clay and Milladean Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Ruth Smith Holland; his sons, Charles E. Holland (Linda) of Bethlehem, Roger Holland (Cathy) of Conover and Brian Holland (Angel) of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, G. Charlene, Audrey, Andrew, Kyle, Curtis, Mindy, Matthew and Madison; and his stepgrandchildren, Jessie and Eric. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
