She was predeceased by: her father James Earl Banner; and her siblings, Thomas Howell and Carla Banner Brooks. She is survived by: her mother Jo Virginia Banner; her sons, Yancy Lacel Banner (Ashley) of Lenoir, Norell Marcel Banner, Sr. (Tyricka) of Hickory and Latif Thomas Banner (Brittany) of Lenoir; her brothers, James Michael Banner (Crystal) of Bronx, NY and Curtis O'Neil Banner of Lenoir; and her grandchildren, Ya'Kecia Felder, Javian Banner, Norell Banner, Jr., Norielle Banner, La'Kari Dula-Banner, Alix Banner and Brayden Dula-Banner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul AME Church (443 Finley Ave NW, Lenoir, NC 28645). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
