He is survived by: his children, Jenifer Carroll (Jamie) of Hickory, NC, Josh Bruner (Sydney) of Wilmington, DE and Brittany Spencer (Chris) of Hickory, NC; his brother Stewart Bruner (Paula) of Carolina Beach, NC; his grandchildren, Brannon, Blake (Abby), Brooklynn of Ivan, A. J., Addaline and Cade; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Combs (Sheri) and Lee Combs (Cindy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
