She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Franklin Ward and Elizabeth Ward; her husband Teddy Hayes; her children, Allen Hayes of Hickory, Ronnie Hayes (Dawn) of High Point, John Hayes (Jamie) of Conover and Diane Hayes Wilcox (Jeff) of Boone; her grandchildren, Scottie Wilcox (Tabatha) of Deep Gap, Garrett Wilcox (Kasey) of Fleetwood, Kelly, Erin Hayes of Concord, John, Cole Hudgins of High Point, Kalob, Kendalyn Teague of Conover, Suni Bumgarner (Red) of Granite Falls, Kyle Bumgarner (Danielle) of Mountain View and Derek Bumgarner of Vale; and her great grandchildren, Jaxsen Wilkerson, Andin, Baylee, Rylie, Ellarie, Maggie Wilcox, Autumn and Titus Bumgarner.
