Cynthia Ann Sigmon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Ann Sigmon of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Moir and Rowena Ross Moir; her husband Larry Wayne Sigmon; her son Larry Wayne Sigmon Jr.; and her brother Mike Moir.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Eggers (Tab) of Morganton; her brothers, Jim Moir of Newton, Mark Moir of Winston Salem, David Moir of Knoxville, TN and Greg Moir of Maryland; her grandchildren, Christian Eggers, Noah Eggers, Gabriel Eggers, Kandice Sigman and Hannah Clark; and her great grandchildren, Brenton Frasure and Zachary Frasure.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 PM at the Burke Mortuary Chapel (2516 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
