Cynthia Lynn Thomas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Lynn Thomas of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Cynthia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cynthia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Whitt and Jane Johnson Whitt; her grandchild Kingston; her husband James "Jim" Thomas; her children, Evan Thomas and Linsey Thomas; her grandchildren, Brandon Thomas and Aiko Berry; and her siblings, Christina Fortune (Andy), Douglas Whitt (Cynthia) and Charles Whitt (CC).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephens Lutheran Church (2304 Springs Rd NE, Hickory, NC 28601).
