We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2022, at the age of 79, Darrel Wayne Clark of Hickory, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Clark; his former wife Jean Wright Clark; his wife Nelda Whitener Clark; his son Ronald Green; his stepfather Clyde Helton; and his siblings, Don Helton and Carla Jean Helton.

He is survived by: his children, Timothy Clark (Abbey Raines) of Granite Falls, David Clark of Kansas City, MO, Deborah Keenan (Mike) of Maiden, Alisa Keller of Claremont and Lori Passmore; and his brother Mike Helton (Jane) of Shelby. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 1823 3rd Ave SW, Hickory, NC 28601.
