He is survived by: the mother of his children Jean Scronce Bentley; his children, David W. Bentley (Carlos Moreno) of Hickory and Lajeana Bentley Alonso (Charles) of Texas; his grandchildren, Joel Alonso, Anneliese Alonso Millspaw (Adam), Chariese Alonso Toney (Matthew) and Janiese Alonso; his great grandchildren, Deanna (Andrew Long), Hayley, Mikayla, Isabelle Alonso, Ethan, Emily Amato, Viktor and Ivy Grace Toney; and his great great grandchildren, Krew and Emory.
