He is survived by: his mother Sandra Fox Turner; his wife Carol Renee Smith; his sister Cathy Mingus Powell (Chris); his stepsiblings, Stoney Turner (Annette) and Tonda Mabe; his stepchildren, Leigha Hager, Bradley Hager and Sergeant Benjamin Hager; his grandchildren, Carter McCray, Jackson Mingus, Ava Cheek, Kinsley Cheek, Kennedy Mingus, Elizabeth Hager-Lugo, Charlotte Hager-Lugo and Penelope Hager-Lugo; his uncle Larry Fox; his pets, Woodrow, Maggie-Mae and Daisy-Mae; Shawn Mingus (Monica) and Emily Brooke Mingus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
