We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to David Michael Cady in Hickory, North Carolina, born in Huntsville, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Cady and John Cady; and his sister Rebecca Gene Cady Gallant. He is also survived by his many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church (52 16th Ave NW, Hickory, NC 28601). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM and on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Duke Cancer Center in Durham, Carolina Caring (Hospice) in Hickory, St. Lukes UMC in Hickory, or Epworth UMC in Huntsville, Alabama. Keep David's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
