It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Ralph Reames (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ralph Reames and Zula Elizabeth O'Guinn Reames; his wife Alma Reames; and his siblings, Thomas Edison Reames, Billy Joe Reames, Seminola Rodgers, Felicia Nicholl and Carolyn Lindsay.
He is survived by: his children, David R. Reames, Jr. of Lenoir, Craig Alan Reames (Crystal) of Concord, NC and Margie Faye Hamlin of Taylorsville, NC; his siblings, Jerry Dale Reames of Arkansas and Lavon Ghent of Heber Springs, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Richard Dean Isenhour (Tessie), Steven Alexander Reames, Carissa and Tyler Montgomery; his great grandchildren, Blake Isenhour and Morgan Isenhour; and his great great grandchild Kole Isenhour.
