He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahlon Judd Willoughby and Marion Irene Anderson Willoughby. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane "Jari" Butterfield Willoughby; his sons, James David Willoughby (Rebecca) and Jon Lynn Willoughby (Catheryne); and his sister Dr. Jane D. Peterson (Stan). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
