With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolan Lafayette Huffman Sr. of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Propst Huffman and Lee J. M. Huffman; his wife Betty Little Huffman; and his children-in-law, James H. Brannon and Joan Huffman.
He is survived by: his children, Lanny Huffman (Stephanie Logan) of Hickory and Diane Brannon; his grandson Robert Brannon (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Jack and Andrew of Okinawa, Japan; his grandchild Meredith Mizell (Chris); his great grandchildren, Nicolas and Amelia of Lexington, S. C.; and his grandchild Madison Huffman of Greer, S. C.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
