She is survived by: her husband David Carson Houston; her children, Shawn Houston (Scottie) of Bethlehem and Dawn Houston Roberts (Kip) of Hickory; her sister Sandy Bowman Houston (Darrell) of Newton; her siblings-in-law, Terry Houston (Jane) of Boone and Kay Huffman of Conover; her grandchildren, Hunter Houston (Taylor), Cole Houston, Savannah Henline, Luke Houston, Chloe Henline and Lauren Roberts K; and her close friend Biscuit A.
