She was predeceased by: her husband Darrell Raymond Yount; her parents, Jake Boston and Mary Jane Dockery; her sisters, Francis Heaton, Betty Stidham and Sandra Wilson; her grandson Michael Adam Wright; and her stepsons, Jeffery and Rilley Yount.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Haas, Johnnie Adams, Linda George Suttles of Hickory, NC and Anne Garcia of Sandia; her stepchildren, Darrelyn Cooper of Hickory, NC and Blake Yount of Hickory, NC.; and her siblings, Paul Wayne Kimbrell, Willie Boston (Nancy), Gerald Boston (Karen), Diane Smith, Mary Ann Minton, Hazel Duncan (Tim) and Letha Dellinger (Danny). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Andrews Lutheran Church (629 8th Street NE).
