He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe MacLean, Jr. and Alfredda Smith MacLean; and his wife Dorinda Huffman MacLean (Dinky). He is survived by: his sister Debra MacLean (James Loscalzo); his son Robert Douglas MacLean; his nephew Christopher Diamond (Katie); his great-nephews, Jack and Charlie Diamond; his stepsons, David Killian (Sherry) and Mark Killian (Teresa); his grandchildren, Faith Killian, Grace Killian, Heather Letterman, Alex Letterman and Jessica Pitts; his great grandchild Timothy Pitts; and his pet Phoebe. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
