With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dwight Carroll Frye of Hickory, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Frye and Iona Pitts Frye; and his siblings, Stewart, Jerry Frye and Linda Frye.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Martin Frye; his children, D. C. Frye of Hickory and Deborah Frye Moore (Mike) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Meghan Nelson (Jordan) of Clayton, NC, Katie Holloway (Sam) of Norfolk, VA, Matt Frye (Carey) of Columbia, SC, Ashley Walker (Nathan) of Hickory and Dakota Moore of Hickory; his great grandchildren, Gavin Walker, Molly Nelson, Wells Holloway, Delilah Frye and Tyler Horton; and his sister Judy Frye Bruner (Denny).
