It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eddie Russell Keller of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Naomi Estelle Slaughter Cook of Hickory; his sisters, Elaine Miller and Judy Christine; and his grandparents, James, Lily Keller, Sid and Azalea Slaughter.

He is survived by: his son Shaun Keller (Daniel Shelton) of Conover; his mother Naomi Slaughter Cook of Hickory; his siblings, Sammy Keller of Hickory, Randy Keller (Tina) of Claremont and Janie Sipe (Wayne) of Newton; and his significant other Andrew Glass. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
