Though Edna may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Edna leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellie Ree Cheek and Mary Elizabeth Gentry Cheek; and her sons, Ernest Bradley Norman and Michael Todd Norman. She is survived by: her husband Paul Norman, Jr.; her daughter Cynthia Norman Parrish (Michael) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Sebastian Allen Parrish and Sophia Rae Parrish; and her daughter-in-law Pat Elizabeth Norman of Georgia. She is also survived by friends; and other surviving grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (1225 29th Ave Dr NW, Hickory, NC 28601). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
