Watson of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Volga, South Dakota, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Nelson and Elida Nelson (Sveen); her husband Harold Watson; and her siblings, Elden, Leonard, Wilmer and Delores Houtman.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Peter), Christopher (Heather) and Robert Watson (Pattie) of Pinedale, AZ; her grandson Bryce Watson (Mary) of Cedar Falls, IA; her great grandchildren, Lily and Ryan; her grandson Reid Watson (Katrina) of Peoria, AZ; her great grandchildren, Carter, Cael, Lorelei, Adelei, Cullen, Emmeline and Camden; her siblings, Arlene Granum of Volga, SD and Wayne Nelson (Carolyn); and her sister-in-law Juanita Maher of Brookings, SD. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
Two years ago and due to the COVID pandemic, Eldora moved to Hickory NC to be closer to her daughter Barbara and moved into Kingston Retirement Home in Hickory NC where she lived and enjoyed friends and activities until her death on August 1, 2022.
