It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elijah Reid Moore of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Adam Moore; and his grandfather Wesley Moore. He is survived by: his mother Heather Kilby Seagle (Greg); his brothers, Colton, Kaleb and Aiden Moore; his half-sister Haleigh Parker; his stepsiblings, Karigan Poteet (Trevor), Hunter and Byson Seagle; his grandparents, Rick, Rachel Kilby and Julie Moore; his uncles, Chad Kilby (Melinda) and Nathan Moore; his cousins, Micah and Savannah Kilby; and his friends, Jamie, Theresa, Catherine and Grace. He is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send things that remind you of Elijah, such as guitar picks and capos. Memorials may be made to the Guitar Center Elijah Moore fund, guitar lessons for underprivileged youth.
