With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Wise Sigmon of Hickory, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Elizabeth Wise departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elizabeth Wise may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elizabeth Wise leaves behind.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (6175 St Peters Church Rd, Conover, NC 28613).
In lieu of flowers, she asked that donations be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Conover or Catawba Valley Quilters' Guild.
