He is survived by: his spouse Thom Huynh Nguyen; his children, Thoa Nguyen, Thanh Nguyen, Binh Nguyen (Jonathan), Lam Nguyen (Kelly), Dong Nguyen and Kimberly Ferguson (Richard); his grandchildren, Jessica, Melissa (Fernando), Benson, Daniel, Abbie, Austin, Andrew, Mylinh, Sandy, Timmy (Natalie), Mayci, Kylie, Bentley, Katana, Malina, Alivia and Chris; and his great grandchild Bao.

In lieu of flowers, monetary gifts will be donated to Chua Cực Lạc temple.
