With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Faye Lockhart of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Bauguess and Tessie Bauguess; her husband Jack Lockhart; and her siblings, Doris, Elwood and Raymond.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Lockhart of Charlotte, N. C., Jackie Lockhart (Geitner Simmons) of Lincoln, Nebraska and Kenny Lockhart of Hickory, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Harry Simmons of Omaha and Lucy Simmons of Portland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Catawba County, 3224 20th.
