He is survived by: his parents, Howard Eason (Lisa) of Vale and Carla Morgan Sims (Eric) of Claremont; his son Collin Barber of Lincolnton; his grandparents, Shirley, Tom Eason of Vale and Jacqueline Wishon of Hickory; his stepsiblings, Pete Craft (Haley) and Holly Shook; his aunts and uncles, Julie (Garon Sellers), Tony (Dawn Eason), Stephanie (Jason Green), Barry (Amy Heavner), Jody (Beth Sims) and Kelly (Amy Sims); and his great-aunts, Eunice Black of Cherryville and Carolyn Eason of Dallas.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home (405 N Dixie St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel (405 N Dixie St, Cherryville, NC 28021).
