She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Jose and Dominga Mendoza Quijada; her husband Lloyd Clyde Fortner; her siblings, Eva Quijada, Livoria Quijada Castilla, Laura Quijada and Teofilo Quijada; and her sons-in-law, Marvin Shoupe and Leon Frye.
She is survived by: her children, Domingo Martino, Benny Martino, Alan Fortner (Ann), Alvin Fortner, Carmen Robinson, Yolanda Shoupe and Nereida Frye; her grandchildren, Victoria, Megan, Robbie, Brenda, Lisa, James, Marty, Donna, Michael, Jason, Mark, Joseph, Maria, Tony, Melinda, Daniel, Terry and Ryan; her niece Dalida Benfield; her nephew David Tejada; and her sister Modesta Zanjur. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, as well as numerous great-great grandchildren.
