She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison G. Huggins and Annie Love Quentin Huggins; her husband Gentry E. Hefner; and her siblings, Henry Huggins, Fred Huggins and Ethelene H. Ervin.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Hefner (Susan) of Hickory and Brent Hefner (Beth); and her grandchildren, Patty Benton (Bart) of York, SC, Amy Wheatley (Scott) of Conover, Tyler Hefner of Chesapeake, VA and Clay Hefner of Hickory. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
