He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Benvenuti and Anne Crocco Benvenuti; his son Ted Benvenuti; and his brother Paul Benvenuti. He is survived by: his son Tim Benvenuti (Rhonda); his grandson Timothy Benvenuti; and his siblings, Angie Honigfeld (Gil), Helen Triolo (Anthony), Salvatore Benvenuti (Deborah), Joseph Benvenuti (Mary) and Benjamin Benvenuti (Deborah).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Bass-Smith Funeral Home (334 2nd St NW, Hickory, NC 28601). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bass-Smith Funeral Home Chapel (334 2nd St NW, Hickory, NC 28601).
