He was predeceased by: his father Claude Cook. He is survived by: his wife Joan "Susie" Cook; his children, Lori Meadows (Craig), Jeff Cook and Suzanne Thomas (Jamie); his grandchildren, Whitnie Beasley (Chris), Allen Ward, Jackson Bradley and Shelbi Meadows (Landon Russ); his great grandchildren, Asher Ward, Brynley and Benjamin Beasley; and his siblings, Reese Cook and Doyle Cook. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
