We bid farewell to Fred Paul Woody of Hickory, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 23, 2025 at the age of 94. Fred Paul touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyatt W. Woody and Lucreta Wise Woody; his wife Mae Woody; his daughters, Tammy Blackman and Denise Westbrooke; his son-in-law Pat Blackman; and his siblings, Oakley, Roe, Arthur, Lynn, Ted, Beulah, Merle, Pearl and Betty.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Joshua Blackman, Chace Westbrooke, Mackenzie Burket and Brooke Blackman; his great grandchildren, Christian, Mason and Tanner; and his nephew Kenneth Woody (Joyce). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations (3010 U. S. Hwy 70 SW, Hickory, NC 28602). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Catawba Memorial Park (3010 U. S. Hwy 70 SW, Hickory, NC 28602).
