He is survived by: his sons, Junior Walker (Carole) of Hickory and Tim "Slaw" Walker of Vale; his grandchildren, Jessica Walker, Justin Walker, Brycen Walker, Lucas Walker and Nevaeh Peterson; his brothers, Ken Walker (Wanda), Johnny Walker (Vickie) and Buster Walker (Jean); and his friends, Tom and Jan Hester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and special dog, Buddy.

Memorials may be made to U.S. Veteran Administration.
