He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ivey Coffey and Mabel Margaret Lackey Coffey; his daughter Erica D. Coffey; and his siblings, Robbie Coffey and Donna Church.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Coffey; his children, Charles Blachnik (Krickett), Sarah Sutherland (Jason), Heather Weeks (James) and Chev Ell Hamby (David); and his siblings, Bruce Coffey (Debra), Bill Coffey (Doris), Julius Coffey, Tim Coffey (Robin), Pam Pennington and Judi Anderson (Danny). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
