With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Edward Holland (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene Edward Holland to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brazzie Holland, Sr. and Bessie Nora Lail Holland; his wife Mandy Stallings Holland; and his brothers, Bill Holland and Buddy Holland.

He is survived by: his siblings, James Holland, Jr. (Barbara) of Newton and Shirley Stewart; and his sister-in-law Judy Holland of Statesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 7500 NC Hwy 127 N, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
