He is survived by: his son Jerry Whitener (Linda); his grandchildren, Daisy Whitener Pearson (Auldin) and Garrett Burnette (Kasaundra); his great grandchild Meech Barnett; his daughter Margaret Maryanne Buff; his grandchild Jesse Buff (Bridget); and his great grandchildren, Jasmine Buff and Emma Jackson.
