It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Mills Collins of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph T. Mills Sr. and Gertrude Codgill Mills; her husband Gene Collins; and her brothers, Ralph Mills Jr. and Donald C. Mills.
She is survived by: her children, David E. Collins of Hickory and Karen Collins Shook (Darin) of Hickory; and her granddaughters, Megan Shook of Raleigh, Paige Shook Sebastian (Mark) of Kannapolis, Brittany Collins (Hunter) of Hickory and Hannah Collins of Hickory. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
