In loving memory of Gerald Lee Hawkins of Hickory, North Carolina, who departed this world on May 13, 2025 at the age of 77. Gerald Lee leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Howard Hawkins and Rosa Lee Houk Hawkins; and his brothers, Ted Hawkins and Phillip Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Delores Moretz Hawkins; his sons, Tracy Hawkins (Leslie) and Jonathan Hawkins (Nancy); his siblings, Earl Hawkins and Jeanne Smart; his grandsons, Jordan Hawkins (Kathleen), Mark Hawkins (Alexis), Preston Hawkins (Amanda), Ryan Hawkins (Carley) and Landon Hawkins (Chloe); his great grandchildren, Addaline, HenleyFay and Kayson; and his friends, Rev. Jesse, Linda Crooks, Reba and George Cornwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, 325 Shasta Ln, Lenoir, NC, United States, North Carolina.
