It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenn Richard Benfield of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. Benfield and Georgia Hawn Benfield. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Benfield (Robert Lowe) and Angela Reitzel (Nikki Curtis); his grandchildren, Trevor Lowe, Brandon Reitzel and Courtney Reitzel; his sister Kay Price; and his sibling's children, Kelli Brown and Kevin Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas or the American Heart Association in Glenn's name.
