She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Wade Propst; her parents, Georgia Smyre Troutman and L. R. "Put" Troutman; and her brother Richard Troutman. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Propst of Hickory and Lee Propst (Tammy) of Apex, NC.; her granddaughters, Brianna McGhee of Willow Spring, NC and Ashlee Propst of Philadelphia, PA.; her brother Roscoe Troutman (Carolyn); and her sister-in-law Linda Troutman of Kure Beach, NC. She is also survived by her five nieces and three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickory Funeral Home (1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home (1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba Memorial Foundation, 810 Fairgrove Church Rd. SE, Hickory, NC 28602.
