He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Buff and Beddie Buff; his wife Betty Jane Crawley Buff; and his son-in-law Larry Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Earnest Buff of Franklin, Carroll Buff (Denise) of Hickory and Brenda Wells of Hickory. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
