He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank Smith and Daisy Hobson Smith; and his brothers, Gerald Smith of Marion and John Smith of Hickory. He is survived by: his son Gregory Robertson of Hickory.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (503 Thornburg Dr NE, Conover, NC 28613).
