He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Herbert Bowman and Cora Etta Starnes; his wife Margie Heavner Bowman; and his siblings, James Bowman and Mary Lou Pennell.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Bowman (Brenda), Kim Bowman and Kathy Hagaman (Alan); his granddaughter Kaitlyn Hagaman; his great grandchild Havannah Wilmoth; and his siblings, Zeb Bowman and Emma Jane Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bethlehem Baptist Church Building Fund, 7500 NC 127 Hwy, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
