He was predeceased by: his father Leroy Gosnell; his wife Shirley Ann Gosnell; his grandchildren, Chris Herman and Kelly Parton Brooks; and his siblings, Howard Gosnell, Herman Gosnell, Pender Gosnell, Vance Gosnell and Geneva Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Gosnell (Pam) of Newton, Dwayne Gosnell (Lesa) of Newton, Darla Chavero (Lazaro) of Statesville and Darren Gosnell (Amy) of Vale; his grandchildren, Stacy Tagnani, Sarah Sharp, Jason Gosnell, Melissa Brown, Tyler Gosnell, Michael Herman, Ricky Riley and Cynthia Gosnell; and his sister Leona Sumner. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
