It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Worth Pearce of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pearce and Sadie Whitener Pearce; his wife Betty Stafford Pearce; his son Michael Pearce; and his brother Marion Pearce.

He is survived by: his children, Carol Goins of Maiden, Wayne Pearce (Patrice) and Joel Pearce (Dawn); his brother Ira W. Pearce (Mary); his grandchildren, Erik Austin, Michael Pearce (Melissa), Kara Pearce (Mike Miller), Ian Pearce (Katie), Holt Pearce, Greg Pearce and Brad Pearce (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Piper Pearce, Michael Devon Pearce, Eli Miller, Isaac Miller, Lily Pearce and Memphis Pearce.
