It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Heather Lauren Shook of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, James P. Queen (Rink) and Richard Lee Setzer; and her stepgrandfather Bill Murdock. She is survived by: her parents, Lisa Setzer Morgan (Rob) and Brad Shook (Angie); her son Jaxson Turner Shook; her stepfather Steve Morgan; her siblings, Hannah Leigh Parris (Ethan) and Clayton Max Morgan; her boyfriend Rodney Nolan Warren; her grandparents, Faye Queen, Harold and Shirley Shook; her stepgrandmother Jeanie Murdock; her aunts and uncles, Melanie Phillis (Jason), Joni Moretz (Kevin), Tony Queen (Tayloire) and Eric Shook; her nephew Hayden Parris; her stepsiblings, Lucas Beaver and Rebecca Barnette; her gecko lizard Spartacus; and her pet Lilly. She is also survived by cousins and extended family.
