He is survived by: his mother Mary Lucille Phelps of Newton; his granddaughter Delizah; his wife Tamira Sawyers Hightower; his children, Kiya D. Hightower of Newton, Zana T. Hightower of Morganton, Raheem Sawyers of Concord, Herman L. Hightower of Concord, Elijah Hightower of Concord and Devin Hightower of Concord; and his siblings, Apostle Ivey Robinson (Raymond) of Newton, Angela Stokes (Donnie) of Gastonia, Crystal (Bobby) of Newton, Bryan Hightower of Lenoir, Brock Hightower of Lenoir, David (Jocelyn) of Concord, Latoya Williams (Justin) of Lenoir, Joanie Mungro of Lenoir, Marsha Danner of Charlotte and Leteshia Barnett of Crowley, TX. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
